Why the family of Rita Edith Todd set up the Foundation
The Rita Todd Foundation was born in March 2007 afer the sad passing of the loved and cherised named Rita Edith Todd, to mirror Rita's desire to help and serve carers who care for their disabled and sick loved ones.
Over many years Rita suffered ill health and the lack of knowledge availalble to her carers was in hind sight an awful situation to have been in.
Sadly research has shown that there are many carers who also find themselves in a similar situation to those of Rita's family. During Rita's lifetime her family were too involved with the process of looking after her. In the latter years of her life she need twenty four hour care. Do you know that there are carers, some as young as nine years old giving round the clock support to their sick and needy loved ones. These carers also need support and care. We want to help.
The Rita Todd Foundation Vision
To buuild a respite centre in Bournemouth, England and to provide educational resources to carers to look after themselves and to learn how to develope their mindsets to looking at the bigger picture while they care for their loved ones.
Our Mission
To provide those carers with their own respite programme and education to find true peace of mind, personal health and happiness again.
Can you help please to make our vision a reality.Your support is greatly needed. Please help with a donation.
